CHRISTIAN EXERCISES.
301 S. M.
Greatneaa of God’a mercy.
1 l\/l Y soul, repeat his praise
i ’ i Whose mercies are so great;
Whose anger is so slow to rise,
So ready to abate.
2 His power subdues our sins ;
And his forgiving love,
Far as the east is from the west,
Doth all our guilt remove.
3 High as the heavens are raised
Above the ground we tread,
So far the riches of his grace
Our highest thoughts exceed.
ADORATION AND PRAISE.
302 L. M.
God exalted above all praise.
1 EXTERNAL Power, whose high abode
Becomes the grandeur of a God !
Infinite lengths beyond the bounds
Where stars revolve their little rounds!
2 Thee, while the brightest seraphs sings,
He veils his face behind his wings,
And ranks of shining thrones around,
Fall worshipping, and spread the ground
3 Lord, what shall earth and ashes do ?
We would adore our Maker too ;
