Just wanted to congratulate Mary Wheeler on the great job she did running the reunion this year! Thank you for your hard work! Also many thanks to Jabo Allen for coordinating putting a new roof on the church, and of course thanks to all who donated generously to make this happen! It was great to see everybody and I don't remember us ever having better weather! I'll be updating the website as time allows so check back often and join the email list (on front page of website) to be notified of updates!

My parents are Waver and Armada Hunter Williams, my grandmother was Alice Foreaker, she died when my Daddy was only 10 yrs. old. They loved going to the reunions and seeing Persil, and Aunt Nancy and all the kinfolk. We enjoyed hearing stories of them chasing black bear and wrestling alligators as kids, and getting in all kinds of mischief!

Our family had a great time today at the reunion. I loved having the guitar accompany us while we sang Amazing Grace. The food was great, the smiles warm and the company terrific! I wish more people would come though. It seems each year we have less and less attendance. But all in all, a great day!

My great grandmother was Zilphia Johnson (w/o William Webster Johnson). I have some photos of a Big Meeting around 1950 that I would like to share Regards, Johnny Johns Admin reply: Johnny, so nice to meet you! Thank you very much for the amazing pictures! They are some of the oldest ones I've ever seen of the reunion at the old church building, and your story about the feet washing and playing at the creek is awesome! My grandmother was Dolly Pauline Fouraker. She married Mallie Green. I wish we could have made it to the reunion this year! We were at a Green reunion April 17th and since it's such a long drive for us made it a little difficult to made that trip again. We were visiting with my cousins Julie Fouraker Eichermuller and she mentioned the reunion. From what I understand Julie and her family, her father is Thomas Jefferson Fouraker lll, went to the reunion and had a wonderful time. The Fouraker reunion is on my calendar for next year! Thanks for all the hard work on this website that enables lost ones like us to find you .
