GLORIES OF CHRIST.
                When lie had purged our stains,
                  He took his seat above :
                          Lift up the heart, &c.
             3  His kingdom cannot fail,
                  He rules o’er earth and heaven;
                The keys of death and hell
                  Are to our Jesus given.
                          Lift up the heart, &c.
              4 He all his foes shall quell,
                  Shall all our sins destroy,
                And every bosom swell
                  With pure seraphic joy.
                          Lift up the heart, &c.
              5  Rejoice in glorious hope,
                  Jesus the Judge shall cane,
                And take his servants up
                  To their eternal home.
                We soon shall hear th’ Archangel’s voice
                The trump of God shall sound, Rejoice i

                            Fame of Christ.
              1  * y IS the Saviour ! angels raise
                  * Fame’s eternal trump of praise;
                Let the earth’s remotest bound
                Hear the joy-inspiring sound.
              2  Now, ye saints, lift up your eyes;
                Now to glory see him rise;
                In long triumph, up the sky,
                Up to waiting worlds on high.
              3 Heaven displays her portals wide,
                Glorious Hero, through them ride;
                King of glory, mount to throne.
                Thy great Father’s and thy own.
