CHRISTIAN EXERCISES.
                   2 Through these sweet promises I range,
                       And, blessed be his name,
                     Though I a feeble mortal, change,
                       His love is still the same.
                   3 Grace, like a fountain, ever flows.
                       Fresh succor to renew;
                     The Lord my wants and weakness knows,
                       My sins and sorrows too.
                   4 ’Tis he directs my doubtful ways,
                       When dangers line the road ;
                     Here I mine Ebenezer raise,
                       And trust a gracious God.

                               Good hope through grace.
                   1 S"' OME, humble souls, ye mourners, come,
                          And wipe away your tears;
                      Adieu to all your sad complaints,
                        Your sorrows and your fears.
                    2 Come, shout aloud the Father’s grace,
                        And sing the Saviour’s love ;
                      Soon shall you join the glorious theme,
                        In loftier strains above.
                    3 God, ’th eternal, mighty God,
                        To dearer names decends;
                      Calls you his treasure and his joy,
                        His children and his friends.

                           Sanctified afflictions our best mercies,
                    1 THY people, Lord, have ever found
                       1 ’Tis good to bear thy rod ;
