CHRISTIAN EXERCISES.
2 Through these sweet promises I range,
And, blessed be his name,
Though I a feeble mortal, change,
His love is still the same.
3 Grace, like a fountain, ever flows.
Fresh succor to renew;
The Lord my wants and weakness knows,
My sins and sorrows too.
4 ’Tis he directs my doubtful ways,
When dangers line the road ;
Here I mine Ebenezer raise,
And trust a gracious God.

Good hope through grace.
1 S"' OME, humble souls, ye mourners, come,
And wipe away your tears;
Adieu to all your sad complaints,
Your sorrows and your fears.
2 Come, shout aloud the Father’s grace,
And sing the Saviour’s love ;
Soon shall you join the glorious theme,
In loftier strains above.
3 God, ’th eternal, mighty God,
To dearer names decends;
Calls you his treasure and his joy,
His children and his friends.
